We didn't start a consultancy because we wanted to be consultants.
We started McBix because every company we worked inside had the same problems: processes that bled hours, system rollouts that stalled at adoption, and change management that consisted of a “training session” the week before go-live.
We kept fixing those problems. Eventually we formalized it.
McBix Consultants is a boutique firm built for mid-market and growth-stage companies — organizations that are too complex for ad hoc processes but too practical for McKinsey. Program management, process improvement, and AI strategy. Matthew has led large-scale project delivery in healthcare IT, managed Agile transformations using SAFe, and built AI adoption roadmaps that produced measurable ROI in the first quarter.
Before McBix, he ran system implementations, contact center optimizations, and process improvement initiatives at organizations ranging from regional healthcare providers to national operations. His focus: take the complexity out of rollouts and make the improvement stick.
Charley Bixby

Change management, contact center operations, and patient scheduling. Charley brings 10+ years of healthcare leadership — managing teams through system migrations, organizational restructures, and process transformations.
Her approach to change management starts long before go-live: stakeholder analysis, resistance management, role-specific training, and adoption measurement. She's led change for multi-site healthcare operations where the teams ranged from cautiously optimistic to openly resistant.

Launched SOP Studio — a productized platform for AI-native SOP drafting and compliance workflows, born from consulting engagements.
2025
Expanded to nationwide engagements. Delivered 7,612 labor hours saved through AI-powered operations for a single client.
